ok, so I'm late....

(zing!)

These aren't new pictures, but your last image reminded me of some images I took last semester that never saw the light of day. I'm not sure if they really fit together here or not, but I think there's a similar thread running though them. Let me know what you think.

  2. Book: Ordered. I got one for myself too. This is the danger in ordering photo books for other people.

I had it shipped to my house, so I'll have to make a trip to Bloomington in the near future.

    Cool?

  5. Okay, as far as your new photos... I'm diggin' the first two; I like the light and the composition. I feel as though the third one is too static. While the other two are banal, I find them interesting unlike the satellite dishes. I think the thing that stands out to me about the other two as well as the photos from the last post is that you are shooting/ seeing in such a way as to give quirky personalities to the main subject. That may be weird, but I just feel like the dishes are soulless or maybe just boring.

I do really like the pairing of the parking light that is half out and the tree that is half cutback.

Are you trying to do anything specific with the science stuff?
