so these are some of the new pinhole negs i've made... i'm into the first one and the last one... been shooting at night. still haven't optimized so they don't look super fab. let me know what you think.

I shot this one over Christmas and never processed it because I needed to paint in the entire tree, I've gotten most of it finished and am pretty happy I did.

Shelley, I don't know what these are about, exactly. I'm not as excited about these images as I was about the previous three. My original idea was that I wanted to find simulations of natural processes in scientific/laboratory environments, but then I started thinking more about the equipment and devices and the way they look (and how their appearance doesn't convey their function). So, this is it. Sorry for not posting six, like I said I would. This has been a rough week.

I finally got your book yesterday. I'll bring it to Bloomington toward the end of the break, ok?

just lookin' at stuff... the cat that was following me around kept crawling into the kyak which was a problem.

want to shoot more of woods and open fields at light... thinking that something like this as the background for a shot with the gate... edges of civilization at light?

better, but i want to use some more of the frame... more motion from bottom to top rather than gathered in the middle

Even though I was late, doing this gets me excited about looking at and making images.

These aren't new pictures, but your last image reminded me of some images I took last semester that never saw the light of day. I'm not sure if they really fit together here or not, but I think there's a similar thread running though them. Let me know what you think.
