Joe and Shelley are holding each other accountable for making artwork regularly. Rules: By 5PM each Fri., 3 new pieces need to be posted; the work doesn't have to be good, but it needs to be made. By 10PM each Sunday, they need to have responded to one other's new work via blog or phone. The slacker that misses the work posted deadline owes the other participant a photo book of their choice from amazon.com worth $45 or less. Miss feedback deadline, owe the other a six pack.
Nice!
ReplyDeleteI can see a bit of what's happening on the right when I look at the larger version. It looks like a little baggie or something hanging from the tree. It's hard to make out, though.
Still, I don't mind the darkness on the right. it kind of lends to the mystery of the space.
What always strikes me about these images of yours is their formal intact-ness. Like, all of the elements seem to be so carefully arranged within the frame, yet the picture still has a kind of casualness. It's a good thing! The other thing: the distortion on the left side makes it look like you were driving really fast, but the right side is so still and calm -yet a little bit foreboding.
Do I post critique as a "comment"? Am I commenting too soon? I don't want to break any rules.
(and I certainly don't want to have to buy you a book)
